In other words, which vehicle featured in a movie has the best sound, in your opinion? I don't care if it's actually coming from the vehicle, or if it's added in post production. All I care about is how it sounds when I'm watching.
One of my favorite's is Sly Stallone's '55 F-100 from the original Expendables.

I seem to recall the "tanker" from The Road Warrior having an excellent seasoned old diesel sound. I'd try a few more avenues of inquiry, but youtube is blocked at work.

As always there are too many to choose from with this kind of question.
But I immediately thought of the Chevelle in Jack Reacher. I like the quiet tension that is building up underlined by the rumbling V8 before the chase starts. You know the car is powerful even if you have no clue about cars and that this beast will be unleashed in a few seconds.

I like the Aston/Alfa sounds in the opening for Quantum of Solace,
I looked up the opening for The (real) Italian Job, but there was a lot less Miura and more music than I remembered.

Easy, the entire movie of Le Mans. But to be more specific, the 917s.
